Inspirational, IAIN Parepare Students Actively Attend Classes, Become Activists and Work Simultaneously

Public Relations IAIN Parepare --- Amidst the busy academic activities, Muhammad Ehkzan Kamaruddin, a student of the Constitutional Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Law (FSIHI) IAIN Parepare, stands as a portrait of a resilient student who can take on multiple roles at once. He not only focuses on completing his academic studies but is also entrusted with the responsibility of being the Chair of the Student Executive Council (DEMA) of FSIHI, while remaining actively employed at a café restaurant in Parepare.

For Ehkzan, the campus world is not just a classroom learning space, but also an arena for character building, leadership, and independence. The experience of organizing and working is an important part of the self-maturation process, while also training responsibility and time management.

Taking on three roles at once is certainly not without challenges. Ehkzan acknowledges that obstacles and fatigue often arise in his daily life. However, he believes that every individual has their own reasons to persevere and continue walking on the 'tracks of life' that are filled with tests.

"I realize that living out these three roles is full of obstacles and exhaustion. However, I believe everyone has a reason to keep moving along the challenging tracks of life," Ehkzan expressed. For him, fatigue is not a reason to stop, but rather a part of the process that must be accepted with awareness and sincerity.
He emphasized that the key to survival is strong motivation accompanied by real action, not just rhetoric or plans without realization. According to him, many students fail to develop not because of a lack of potential, but because they are reluctant to take the first step.

Ehkzan also firmly reminded the importance of leaving behind the procrastination mentality that often infects students. Phrases like "I'll do it later," "I can't do it," or "I'll take it easy, there will be a time for it" are seen as justifications that actually hinder personal progress.

"These phrases may sound simple, but their impact is significant. They can become the biggest obstacles to a student's personal development if they are continuously nurtured," he asserted. Therefore, he chooses to combat doubt with action, no matter how small the steps may be.

This life principle is reflected in his daily life. In between classes, organizational agendas, and work hours, Ehkzan strives to maintain his commitment to every role he undertakes. For him, consistency is far more important than perfection.

He also revealed that one simple question often drives his motivation. "In my mind, one question always arises: how long will all this take to finish if I never start?" he said. That question pushes him to keep moving forward, even though the path is not always easy.

At the end of his reflection, Ehkzan delivered an inspirational message to fellow students not to hesitate in pursuing their dreams. "First, strengthen your motivation so that your dreams can become a reality," he said with full confidence. A simple message, yet full of meaning for the young generation that is in the process.
